1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using Conviction, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. “Conviction,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the team operating this beta.
2. Who may use Conviction
You must be at least 18 years old—or the higher age of legal majority where you live—have legal capacity to accept these terms, and use Conviction only where lawful. You may not use the service if applicable law or sanctions prohibit access. We may introduce geographic, identity, age, or other participation controls before a public beta and may restrict access where required by law, a service provider, or operational risk.
3. Experimental beta only
Conviction is an unfinished private beta provided for testing and feedback. Features, rules, scoring, availability, data, and balances may change, reset, be corrected, or be removed at any time. The service may be interrupted and may contain errors.
Test Credits, shares, cards, tickets, rewards, and other in-app items are experimental records only. They are not money, investments, deposits, securities, or property rights; cannot be purchased from or redeemed with us for cash; and cannot be withdrawn or transferred outside the beta unless we expressly introduce and document such a feature later.
4. Not financial advice or a trading service
Conviction is a fantasy game. Nothing in the service is investment, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Conviction is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, wallet, custodian, or trading venue. Trader activity and performance are shown for gameplay or reference and do not guarantee future results.
5. Accounts and wallet proofs
You are responsible for activity under your account, keeping your sign-in methods secure, and providing accurate information. A wallet signature may be used to prove control of a public address; it does not give Conviction custody of that wallet or authority to transact from it. We will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
6. Game data, scoring, and corrections
Game results may rely on public blockchains, RPC providers, third-party sources, and delayed or incomplete trader data. Data can reorganize, disappear, or be corrected. We may delay, recalculate, void, or correct a round, score, reward, or balance when data is unavailable, inaccurate, manipulated, duplicated, or affected by a technical error. Our records and published rules control beta gameplay, subject to correction of clear mistakes.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Conviction or help another person do so. This includes attempting unauthorized access; disrupting or probing the service; evading access, eligibility, or rate controls; automating abusive requests; manipulating game results or source data; using multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage; impersonating another person; introducing malicious code; or using the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing activity.
8. Third-party and blockchain services
Conviction may link to or depend on authentication, hosting, data, messaging, wallet, blockchain, and other third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. Public blockchain transactions and addresses are visible to others and may be permanent. We do not control third-party availability, accuracy, security, fees, or actions.
9. Our content
Conviction and its software, design, text, graphics, names, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the beta for its intended purpose. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to improve Conviction without restriction or payment to you.
10. Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend, or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the beta, users, or third parties; investigate misuse; comply with law; or discontinue the service. You may stop using Conviction at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Conviction is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, digital assets, or access arising from the beta. Because this beta does not accept payment for in-app items, our aggregate liability relating to the beta will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us to use it in the prior 12 months or US$100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the beta develops. We will post the revised version and update the date above; material changes may also be communicated in the service. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms. Questions or disputes should first be sent to support@bento.fun or our Telegram support.
